A Place to Send Your Weather-Station Squawk

The FAA wants to hear from pilots when an automated weather station at their field is down or reporting numbers that don't match what's out the windshield. Under the plan, pilots could send those reports through an online form open to anyone, covering both AWOS and ASOS sites. For owners flying under Part 91, that turns a hangar complaint into a filed report. A bad altimeter setting or a wind report that doesn't match the windsock can now go somewhere the FAA will see it.
