Flying Starts Grading Pilot Gifts Before the Holiday Scramble

Flying has set up a judged roundup of presents for people who fly, called The FLYING Gift List. Submissions go to the magazine's editors, who rate them and sort the field into five groupings before declaring a winner in each. For anyone who owns an airplane and dreads another December of fielding well-meant but useless gifts from relatives, a vetted list from a working aviation editorial staff is at least a place to point them. What the categories are and what made the cut, the magazine has not yet said.
