Flight Training Scholarship Window Opens, and Applicants Have Homework to Do

Owners with a family member headed for a certificate, or a line pilot looking to add a rating, should note that aviation scholarship applications are being accepted now. Flying has put together guidance on two fronts: how to locate the awards that exist, and how to get through the application itself without stumbling. The money is real, but it goes to people who find the programs and complete the paperwork correctly, which is where most of the effort lies. For anyone sponsoring a pilot's training out of the hangar, pointing them to that guidance is a cheap first step.
