Maker's Mark Opens a New Wood Series With Japanese Oak

· 1 min read

Maker's Mark has started a new line of whiskeys called the World Wood Collection. The first bottle in the series is a bourbon finished in mizunara, a Japanese oak. Robb Report Dining has tasted it and came away pleased. We have not poured it at our own table yet, so for now we pass along their verdict and not ours. For anyone keeping a good bar in Palm Beach, Nashville or Aspen, this new bottle is worth asking about.

With reporting from Robb Report Dining.
