Joining Delta SkyMiles Gets Shorter for Travelers Who Book Through Amex GBT

· 1 min read

Delta Air Lines and American Express Global Business Travel are trying out a feature that lets travelers booking through the agency join Delta SkyMiles in a single step. The pilot is aimed at people flying on company business, the kind who land for a meeting and stay for a reservation. Both companies are wagering that stripping the friction out of signing up will bring more of those flyers into the program. For a reader who books the table before the flight, it means one less form between the office and the dining room.
