The Interior Designer's Eye Now Reaches the Caviar Service

For Patrick Knowles, three and a half decades of tailoring yacht interiors have led to the caviar served aboard. He now applies the same made-to-measure approach to what comes out of the tin, with the caviar matched to each individual yacht rather than poured from a standard list. For owners who have already set the joinery, the fabrics and the layout to their own taste, it adds one more thing to customize, this time at the table. From a Fort Lauderdale fit-out to a winter berth in Palm Beach, more of the boat can now be built to order.
