Pomona Sets New Marks for the California-Bred Yearling

· 1 min read

The Fasig-Tipton California Fall Yearlings Sale set new records on Wednesday at Fairplex in Pomona. By the time the last hip left the ring, 137 yearlings had sold to new owners. The new highs continue a run of strong results at recent sales. Those involved described the session as an encouraging one. For buyers and breeders from the Los Angeles basin and across the state, the results came from their own sale on their home ground. These yearlings, now bought, head toward their first lessons under saddle, and the people behind them have good reason to feel confident about the program.

With reporting from Thoroughbred Daily News.
