Trainer Chad Brown Returns to the Flower Bowl Stakes on Thursday

· 1 min read

The Grade 2 Flower Bowl Stakes runs Thursday, carrying a purse of $500,000. The race has been good to Chad Brown before, and the trainer's barn is represented again this year as he looks to add another Flower Bowl trophy to his record. For readers who follow the turf by trainer rather than by ticket, that is the detail worth marking on the calendar: a half-million-dollar Grade 2 on the grass, and the most consistent name in the division back for more.

With reporting from America's Best Racing.
