Backyard Heaven, the Ramseys' Oaks-Day Winner, Has a Summer Chapter at Saratoga

· 1 min read

The Ramsey red and white has a story to tell at Saratoga Springs this summer, and it belongs to Backyard Heaven. The horse reached the winner's circle three times in the colors Ken Ramsey and his wife Sarah made known across the sport. The best of those afternoons came in the Grade II Alysheba Stakes, run on the same card as the Kentucky Oaks. A graded stakes on the busiest Friday of the Kentucky spring is the kind of result a paddock crowd at the Spa likes to recount. Three wins and an Alysheba is a line that holds up on its own.
