Volkswagen Commits to a More Affordable ID.Buzz for American Buyers

· 1 min read

Volkswagen's chief executive has confirmed that a next-generation ID.Buzz is headed to the United States, and that the price of admission is coming down with it. For American owners who have admired the electric Microbus but balked at the window sticker, that is the news that matters most. Patience will be required, since a fully redesigned van remains some distance off. The revisions Volkswagen has in mind are aimed squarely at the single complaint buyers here have raised most often about the current model, which is what it costs.

With reporting from Car and Driver.
