The Silverado Sheds Its Driver for a Shot at the Army

· 1 min read

The pickup parked in half the driveways in this country has been reworked by GM Defense into a prototype that needs no one behind the wheel. That a showroom truck can be the foundation for a self-piloting machine says something about how far the platform has come, and about the engineering GM's defense arm has put into it.
