A Mower Built From Nothing Reaches 152.8 MPH and Still Does Its Day Job

· 1 min read

This is a lawnmower built from the ground up, not a production model modified for speed. Starting from a dead stop and running over a single mile, it was recorded at 152.8 miles per hour. It can still mow a lawn. Most cars in American driveways would struggle to post that figure over the same distance. Collectors who care about purpose-built machinery know that real speed rarely comes with real usefulness, and this mower has both.

With reporting from The Drive.
