Michael Jordan's 550 Maranello Brings More Than Twice Its Top Figure

· 1 min read

A Ferrari 550 Maranello once owned by Michael Jordan has changed hands for $2.7 million, a record. Going in, the most anyone had projected for the car was $1.3 million, so the final price came in at more than double the high end of that range. For collectors who follow the model, the result shows how much a celebrated owner's name can add to the value of a front-engined V12 Ferrari.
