The coming generations of the Porsche Panamera and the Audi A8 are reported to be headed for common underpinnings, with both cars built in the same plant. That would put Audi's top sedan on the same path Bentley has already taken, since the Continental GT and the Flying Spur are built on a Porsche-derived foundation.
