Alcaraz Puts His Name Down for the Same Ultima 88 Messi Already Owns

· 1 min read

Lionel Messi has taken ownership of a Sunreef catamaran measuring 88 feet, the builder's Ultima 88. He is not the only one of his generation of champions to want one. Carlos Alcaraz has placed an order for an identical Ultima 88 and is now waiting for the yard to finish his. For a readership that tracks what accomplished people choose when the choice is entirely their own, two of them landing independently on one hull says something about the boat. The wire does not say where either vessel will be kept, and we will not guess.

With reporting from Robb Report Motors.
