Rockefeller Center Gets a Playful Makeover From Kenny Scharf

· 1 min read

Kenny Scharf has reworked Rockefeller Center into something far more lighthearted than its usual self, and the editors at Galerie have placed it among the half-dozen things they are enjoying most this week. For New Yorkers the midtown complex is a place passed through on the way to somewhere else, which makes an artist's intervention there all the harder to walk by unnoticed. Scharf's project leads a list that also reaches well beyond the city, but the Manhattan entry is the one close enough for our readers to go and see for themselves.

With reporting from Galerie.
