At the Met, a Curator Talks Through the Rockefeller Wing's Next Chapter

· 1 min read

Alisa LaGamma, a curator at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, sat down for Artnet News's Lunch With Adam interview series to talk about the renewed Rockefeller Wing and the questions of returning objects to their places of origin, the Benin Bronzes among them. Her message was forward-looking: the field, she said, will have to be inventive in the answers it arrives at from here. For New Yorkers who walk those galleries, it is a rare chance to hear the thinking of the person shaping what hangs there and why.

With reporting from Artnet News.
