Rolex Marks the Occasion by Turning Its Own Name Into the Design

· 1 min read

The newest Oyster Perpetual arrives as a commemorative piece, timed to a milestone the house considers significant. Rather than reach for a new complication or an unfamiliar case, Rolex looked at the five letters it has put on every dial and treated them as the material to work with. The result is a watch that reads as lively on the wrist without abandoning the restraint that makes it belong in a Palm Beach drawing room as easily as on a Naples dock.
