A Los Angeles House With No Pedigree Borrows the City's
Dean Levin has taken a Los Angeles residence that arrived with no particular architectural identity and given it one drawn from the city itself. The designer's approach was to let the house speak the language of the region's celebrated buildings and makers rather than impose a look from elsewhere. Inside, pieces Levin designed himself sit alongside work by well-known names from France, Denmark, and Italy. The result reads as a conversation between Southern California and the European modernists whose work has long found a home here. No address or sale price has been made public, and we do not estimate what has not been recorded.
