Before the Cold Arrives, a Verdict on the Terrace Pots

· 1 min read

A well-kept house is judged as much by its terrace as by its rooms, and the containers lining a loggia or flanking a front door are part of the architecture by the time autumn comes around. Veranda has taken up the question that follows: whether those pots can stay where they are through the winter or need to be brought inside. The magazine's answer is that it depends, with some situations where leaving them out is perfectly acceptable and others where it is not. For anyone whose property is finished as carefully outside as in, it is a useful read before the season turns.

With reporting from Veranda.
