Vogue has handed down its 2026 orders on zebra, and the stripe is cleared to run the full length of a look, from a big coat down to the smallest thing a hand can carry. Seven ways, by the magazine's count, which is a generous ration for a pattern that reads from across any ballroom. Our filing cabinet is ready. Anyone who takes the advice onto an American carpet this year should expect the designer, the date and the direction of the stripes to be duly noted.

With reporting from Vogue.
