Axel Arigato's Clean 90 sneaker has turned ten, and the company's chief executive, Frédéric Serrant, marked the occasion with his first extended conversation since taking the post. The shoe's first decade was the starting point, but the talk moved quickly to where the label means to grow next, and the United States sits at the top of that list. Also on the table: a planned relocation of the company's headquarters to Sweden. A sneaker still worth a sit-down interview at age ten is a rarer thing than it sounds.
