Telfar Gives New York's Front Row to the People Who Actually Wear It

The invitations promised the industry a Paris runway, and in the end the presentation happened in New York. Telfar built it as a tribute to his customers, the people carrying the label down the street, rather than the people who usually decide what counts in a season. For a desk that keeps track of who wore what and where, the guest of honor here is the person who bought the piece. That moves the most important seat in the room from the trade to the wearer.
