Colleen Hoover's Six-Book Shelf, Opened as "Verity" Reaches Theaters

The movie version of "Verity," Colleen Hoover's 2018 novel, is now showing in theaters. To mark the release, the author was asked which books she loves most, and she named six that changed her life. Each new adaptation of her work tends to send readers back to her own books, so this list lets them see the other way: what Hoover reads herself. Think of it as her personal shelf, offered to anyone with a ticket stub and an evening free after the credits roll.
