Katie Zacharia Readies Her Debut Before the White House Press Corps

Katie Zacharia, the newly named press secretary at the White House, will take questions from reporters for the first time in the week ahead. President Trump shared the news on Sunday and said he was glad to make it known. In the capital, a press secretary's first session with the press corps is one of the quieter moments that marks an arrival, when a new appointee first speaks for the administration in front of the cameras. For Zacharia, that moment is now days away.
