The American SetParker McCollum Turns Down the Volume for an Acoustic Album on MCA
Parker McCollum has put out an acoustic record titled Live From Sound City, released through MCA. It is a stripped-back outing, the kind that leaves a singer and the songs with nowhere to hide, which is precisely the point. For a Music Row town that still measures an artist by what holds up with the band sent home, a quiet set like this is its own statement of confidence.
