The American SetThree Actors Will Collect Honors as Denver's Film Festival Opens Its 49th Year
The Denver Film Festival will present awards this fall to John Leguizamo, Indya Moore and D'Arcy Carden. The festival, now in its 49th edition, opens on October 22 and closes on November 1. Leguizamo is set to accept the John Cassavetes Award during the run. Moore and Carden will each be recognized as well. The honors place three working screen performers at the center of a Colorado event that has been staged for nearly five decades. For readers here who follow the awards calendar, Denver's festival falls in the stretch of weeks when fall film programs begin announcing their honorees.
