Made By Us Studios Joins Issa Rae's Hoorae as a TikTok Vertical-Series Partner

TikTok has reached an agreement with Made By Us Studios to produce microdramas for the platform. It is the second arrangement of its kind the company has struck with a production outfit. The first was with Hoorae, the company run by Issa Rae, which was set up to turn out series shot in the vertical format that TikTok viewers watch on their phones. That earlier partnership yielded "Screen Time," a drama that found an audience on the platform. The new deal brings a second studio into the same line of work.
