Fulci's 1981 Horror Film 'The Beyond' to Be Remade Under New Studio Alliance

Hangtime International Pictures and Severin Films have joined forces, and their first project together will be a new version of "The Beyond," the 1981 horror picture directed by Lucio Fulci. The two companies described the arrangement as an ongoing collaboration rather than a single-film deal, with additional genre titles planned to follow. The original is an Italian production that has long held a place among horror enthusiasts, and the remake marks the opening entry in the pair's shared slate. No cast, director, or release date for the new film has been announced.
