First Feature From Director Miki Tanaka Centers on Asexual and Aromantic Experience
"Silver Express," the first feature-length film from director Miki Tanaka, has received a review in Variety, which called the work sensitive. The film follows what it is like to live as someone who is asexual and aromantic and to move through a society built around romance and attraction. The review noted that asexual characters do appear in film and television. It added that few productions take up the everyday experience of that identity the way Tanaka's film does.
