A Documentary Shows Sofia Coppola on Set as Her Mother Saw Her
Sofia Coppola is preparing to direct a scripted feature again. Before that, the Los Angeles-born filmmaker is accompanying a documentary made by her mother, who has since died, about the production of "Marie Antoinette." The documentary, titled "Making Marie Antoinette," follows Coppola during the shoot of the film, which starred Kirsten Dunst. Coppola said that watching it let her observe her own work the way her mother had observed it. She did not give a title or a timeline for the next narrative project.
