Disney's New Ship, Believe, Will Sail First From Fort Lauderdale in December 2027

Disney has introduced a new cruise ship called Believe, according to Variety. Its first sailing is set for Dec. 18, 2027. The ship will be based at Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., which makes South Florida its starting point. Variety reports that the ship will stage a musical based on Disney's "Encanto" and will offer a dining experience themed to "Frozen." The report says other onboard offerings are also planned. The first departure is a little more than a year away.
