Affleck's Sixth Film as Director Heads Straight to Netflix

Ben Affleck's new picture, "Animals," will be released directly on Netflix rather than in theaters, according to a review published by Variety. The film is the sixth that Affleck, better known to audiences as an actor, has directed. Variety describes it as a kidnapping thriller with an ensemble cast, built for speed and polish. The outlet's critic takes the view that the streaming release suits the film.
