Affleck's Sixth Film as Director, "Animals," Heads Straight to Netflix

Ben Affleck has directed a new feature, "Animals," and it is going directly to Netflix rather than to theaters, according to a review published by Variety. The film is the actor's sixth as a director. Variety describes it as a kidnapping thriller with a large cast of well-known names, and its critic calls the picture fast-moving and hard to stop watching. The reviewer also writes that the direct-to-streaming release suits the film. The wire item did not include a premiere date or a cast list.
